These portrait based collages were made over one year as the pandemic subsided and one could again sit with another. I made quick drawings in response to the companion's presence, more marks of his/her and my existence at that moment in time than a polite portrait. They were made on scraps from my everyday, relentless lists, etc and on the back were glued pages from the bible. On cutting out the figure, the remnant was turned over, thus the bible and red board aspects.

The first were made locally in the Natimuk cafe, then a cafe in Bermagui and thereafter in my everyday for about one year.
