There is great comfort in having these massive, tough, old trees here on the Barringgi Gadyin /Wimmera River. They have survived despite floods, fires, lightning strikes, lunatics with chain saws and God knows what else. I suspect the Owls have had something to do with it. Worn but enduring sentinels.
